Newsletter

The Newsletter plugin is for projects that need email signup, waitlist capture, and simple campaign sends from the Vivd project surface.

What to configure

  • Enable the Newsletter plugin for the project.
  • Choose newsletter or waitlist mode.
  • Set the public signup copy and confirmation behavior.
  • Review the subscriber list, status filters, and campaign drafts before launch.
  • Use the generated snippet or vivd plugins snippets newsletter [html|astro] instead of rebuilding the signup form manually.

  • newsletter and waitlist modes
  • subscriber status management
  • campaign drafts, test sends, queued sends, and cancellation
  • CSV-style subscriber operations through the project UI and plugin actions where available
  1. Submit a real test signup from the published page.
  2. Confirm that the opt-in email arrives and the confirmation link updates the subscriber state.
  3. Send a test campaign to an internal recipient before queueing a real send.
  4. Re-check the subscriber filters and unsubscribe flow after publishing.

Deliverability cues

  • Use a real sender identity configured for the deployment.
  • Keep the first campaign small and verify unsubscribe links before sending broadly.
